Household Hazardous Waste

Proper disposal of household hazardous materials is important to the safety of your home, as well as the environment. Reduce the risk of poisonings, fires, and toxic chemical fumes by getting rid of unused or unnecessary chemicals from your home. Compost Organic Waste

Yard waste, which makes up 15-20 percent of our waste stream, can be recycled at home. Composting grass clippings, leaves, and prunings produces a valuable soil conditioner for lawns, trees, and gardens. Properly managed composting does not produce offensive odors or attract animals and flies.
